First Look at Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War Part 1’

So far this week has been the week of Marvel. They made a huge announcement on Tuesday, gave us bonus “Age of Ultron” footage, and now it looks like someone has leaked teaser footage from their major phase three coming out party.

When Marvel announced their phase three lineup earlier this week it made a lot of geeks from around the world very happy. It made us even happier now that we’ve gotten to see not only the trailer for “Avengers: Age of Ultron” but we have also gotten to see the same footage that was previewed at San Diego Comic Con.

Yes, it has been a good week.

The week has gotten even better because some hero has uploaded footage of their big announcement of the Infinity War that is coming in 2018 and 2019. Behold, the Infinity Gauntlet.

Oh hell yes that’s Thanos in all of his glory.

This is going to be fantastic, and is going in exactly the direction that I believed it to be going in.

We can expect that within the phase three movies Thanos will appear more, and will somehow get his hands on the infinity stone, or soul gems – whatever they are going to call them. We know about three of them so far.

  • The tesseract (cosmic cube) –  Seen in “Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Avengers”)
  • The Aether  – Seen in “Thor: The Dark World”
  • Purple gem – Seen in “Guardians of the Galaxy”

There are some who think that Loki’s staff from Avengers is also an infinity stone, but I don’t believe that’s the case. I could be wrong, but wasn’t that staff just powered by the tesseract in the first place? Who knows. Just watch that video again.

This movie won’t be out for another 5 years, so it is very kind of Marvel to let us watch this teaser and not go around taking it down from all over the internet.
